Why does windows explorer pop-up on restart?

Hi,
i have a little problem, when i turn on my computer or
restart, the windows explorer menu comes up displaying
C:\WINDOWS\system32. i've tried restarting the computer
several times but it still pops up.
What can i do to get rid of it?
