Message App Box in System Tray? What is it?

Hello All!

My wife's Dell (9 months old) uses Windows XP Home, and gets this
strange box in the system tray that says "Message App" but does nothing
when clicked. It's annoying at best, and could be something bad at
worst. Anyone have any ideas?

It's the Dell Support Alert Application. It can be uninstalled through
add/remove programs in control panel. I believe it is listed as
"DellSupport" in the list.
