Does XP-Home have a facility to encrypt files stored on the disk? Or does
one need to install PGP or some such as with Win98?

Thanks...

Bill

XP Home doesn't have encryption as part of the standard offering. You
are free to use whatever you want.

Hi Bill,

Encryption is only available in WinXP Pro.
