I am helping a friend who thought they were doing a repair from cd.
Computer asked
for an administrative
password. They didn't have one. So they made one up definitely on the spur
of the
moment. That didn't work. Now, two weeks later, when we fire up the ole
computer to once again tackle the problem, it wants a password to log on.
No
doubt the same password that she created in the spur of the moment two weeks
ago. The problem is that she can't remember it.

I'm seen programs talked about. Is there one
to get into the logon. I can't figure how it would work since this is the
first window
that the system asks for. I could pull the harddrive and put it in my
computer. But I
need to know how to retrieve her password. Help!!!
