In Windows 2K Pro. with Internet Explorer 6, I m getting
this error :

"Svshots.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created".

Any one can tell me what is this svshots.exe and why we
need this, and what is the solution of my error.

1 - this is a windows xp support group not win2k.
2 - there is no such thing as svshost.exe
3 - if you mean svchost.exe:
Process File: svchost or svchost.exe
Process Name: Service Host Process
Description: Application works as a host process for services that run from
dynamic-link libraries.

System Process: Yes
Security Risk ( Virus/Trojan/Worm/Adware/Spyware ): No

Yes, what's your point? Many people post with typos too. Svshots.exe may be
a typo for svchosts. You never know, so I put some info out there for the op
and anyone else that needs it.

Ok i will check that viruus issue, and you know on the
same computer if i connect my dial-up connection, then i
cannot disconnect, i have to restart the computer to
disconnect, if i will brows in that hotmail.com website it
is going somewhere else and sometimes its stoping
browsing, but other websites i can brows very fine,
