i am trying to copy and paste a .nws (print shop 15) to
an outlook express email. I use copy on the print shop
program but paste stays grayed out on the email. When I
close the print shop program a smmakk window
appears "updating Windows clipboard". How do I access
this and is what I am attempting possible. Thank you.

Hi,
Try Ctrl/C and Ctrl/V.

And just an addendum to Kelly's information - I assume you realize that
if the recipient does not have the Print Shop program installed, he
will not be able to open the file you've attached.

Paste it into paint, save as jpeg/gif then open it in another program =
(office/internet explorer) and copy from there and into OE. OE can't =
paste the standard windows formats, only non standard internet ones (and =
I don't think it does png as well). It also sounds like your program is =
using an owner draw mechinism for the clipboard (it only copies data =
when asked by a pasting program))
Of course OE can import bitmaps. MS weren't that gung-ho that they made =
windows internal formats completely unusuable.
