Updating Again And Again

If I had to format my hard drive Can I save the updates downloaded from the website without updating the whole lot again from the site.?

Not an easy job to do, one way or another.

Go to the Windows Update website and click on "About Windows Update". =
Scroll down to the section titled "Windows Update Catalog". Activating =
this will enable you select and download your updates, fixes, and =
drivers. It also provides a method to keep track of what you have =
downloaded.

After you get them all, burn them to CD-R discs for future use.

Hi

You can't save the Updates already installed. You can, however, manually
download them, but would then have to go to the Windows Update site after
the format to see which ones you needed.

You can manually download them via the Catalogue link on the Windows Update
page.
