Here is my problem: I have a Korean exchange student who
just arrived and she has an IBM notebook PC with WIndows
XP Pro and Office Pro installed in Korean. Is there any
way to change the settings so that the menus will display
english??!! The Korean student is too young to be able to
do this herself, so I am trying to help.

I heard something about a Windows Multiuser Interface? I
cannot purchase new software. Isn't there something that
can be done?

Please help.

Hi Eric,

The MUI is not something that is available to a regular consumer, it's
designed for corporate use and is only available as an add-on to an English
version of WinXP. The most she could do is install English language support,
but this will not help with the system controls (menus, etc.) , it will just
allow her to use English for web pages, papers, etc.

Info on the MUI:
