Hi folks, I have a special program for typing by voice
called Dragon Naturally Speaking.when I tried to access
it today I recieved the following message.
Couldn't initialize the application because of
insufficient read/write priviledges in the program
directory. Program, directory is
c:\ProgramFiles\Dragon\NaturallySpeaking\Program
I recently had problems with trying to do a backup and
made myself an Administrator so I could do a backup.
Since that time I haven't been able to access
the "Dragon"I have tried everything I could but still
can't get the Dragon to work. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Thank you,Larry

This sounds like a file ownership issue. The best way to resolve it with an
application is to simply install the application under the user ID in which
you are having the problem. Install it to the same directory in which it is
currently installed.
