Power Mgmt Not Working

Got power set up to go off after an hour but it never
powers down.. got to manually put it into
standby/hibernate mode. Any fixes out there for this?
set it up as a scheduled task but still not working.

i set as after 3 minutes, it works fine.. but not after 10 or 15 minutes or
an hour, then it won't work

Hi,

Have you disabled BIOS PM settings? You should, these often interfere with
the Windows-baseed PM settings. It could also be caused by some background
activity (program or driver) continually resetting the timer the system uses
to judge when that hour has passed.
