Can different users have different screen resolutions?

No, the user profiles don't allow for that.

You can still use the resolution that you want to use. You can at any
time change it to what you want ... then when your wife logs she can
change it at any time to what she wants.
Or you can be nice, change back to her perferred settings after you are
done with the computer. Nothing is permanent.
The only thing is, I guess, your XP Profiles apparently don't "remember"
these settings on a per-user basis.

to, I've also developed a System Tray "QuickRes" utility.
