Windows Messenger

I wish this thing would go away!! I have unchecked run in background and run
when windows starts. it still comes up in the systray when I start outlook
express! any suggestions??

You could always try:

Open OE
Tools | Options | General
Uncheck "open windows messenger"

Negative, Messenger Contacts are listed in the OE Contact List. As long as
the OE Contact List is open it will call the Messenger when started.
