DOCUME~1 Error

After downloading a file and then double clicking to
install I get the message "error in opening c:\Docume~1
\...\temp".

When I search for this file windows says it does not
exist. When I try to create this file windows says it
already exists, however nothing shows in explorer.

How can I find this file so I can try and fix the problem?
The file I downloaded will not let me specify a new temp
directory.

I think you need to change explorer options to "show all files" then go to
C:\documents and settings\user\local settings\temp and then delete all the
files in the temp folder and try your install program again.
