How do I alter the shortcut for internet explorer so that
it will start another program aswell as itself when I
click it?
I don't want to run Norton Internet Security normally,
only if I go online. I figured this is probably the best
way to do it.

Do you want to go to a specific page on start-up? If this is what you are looking for
then change your start-up page in the IE options. You can drag any favorite to the
desktop, clicking on it will open that page, thus opening IE too.

If you want to start two or more programs from a single shortcut,
write a batch file that invokes each of the programs, and run the
batch file from a shortcut to it.
