xp home edition can't boot

when booting,getting missing System32
\DRIVERS\pci.sys.reload cd gives me no choices on
reboot.goes right into loading windows executive,hardware
abstraction,kernal debugger.dll,then gives error-file
setupdd.sys could not be loaded.error code is 4.setup
cannot continue.HELP!ANY IDEAS?FIXES?ANYBODY SEEN THIS
BEFORE?Thid has happened before on this dell latitude.I
put the cd in.It went through the setup and loaded up no
problem.
