It seems self explanatory. But I did a Start | Search for the Microsoft
Publisher file MSPUB.EXE which Windows Explorer shows is in the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office. I enter the file name in the
appropriate box, and use the default C: Local Drive. The search fails.

If I repeat the search but use the Browse, to search the folder above, the
file immediately is found.

My advanced search options are set to include hidden and system files and
subfolders

What's the explanation?
