My 120 day trial version does not seem to have an
uninstall that I can find and I would like to reinstall
Win2000 before XP expires. I am not sure what will happen
after the last 25 days left are up but I would like to
save a lot of info and transfer it to Win200 if possible.
Thanks for any help you may provide.

Greetings --
To replace WinXP with an earlier OS, you'll have to boot from the
appropriate boot disk, format the hard drive, and install. There is
no supported downgrade path or technique.
Simply boot from the Win2K installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and/or format the system partition as
part of the installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the
order of boot devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

That's what I call one helluva "trial" version. Re-format or
buy the OS.

Windows XP only supports uninstalling if you upgraded from 98 or Me and
chose to save the old OS as a backup. Additionally, if you converted your
hard disk to NTFS, you can't uninstall then, either.
