I am trying to update my video card drivers but I have a
problem. My video card is the ATI All In Wonder 8500DV.
When I try to uninstall the display drivers from the
ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS I get the message: "Unable to
uninstall older or non ATI Display Drivers" .
These are the drivers that came with the board.
The instructions from ATI say to uninstall from
ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
How do I uninstall them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

This is what I use and it works. Before I found this little
application, I used to pull my hair out when changing
video cards. ----follow instructions to the nth degree----
I printed them out the first few times that I used it.

Rob,
No longer have an ATI card, but on my 3dfx video card, you had to uninstall
the desktop tools applet before the driver would uninstall.
Could be something like that perhaps?
