XP Upgrade

I recently upgraded from 98SE to Home XP. I chose
upgrading over a new install because of the many programs
I have loaded on my machine. I did not want to have to re-
install nor could I with some of the programs. However
after the upgrade when you select "start" "programs" none
of them are listed. They are however still on the hard
drive as I can see them through Explorer, I just cannot
access them, or run them. Any information would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You will probably have to reinstall the problem programs. Sorry.
