Not terribly sure which temp folder you want to reroute,
or why (not sure I wanna know hehe). In the olden times
we used a command called Set to set environment
variables. We could slap these into Autoexec so that it
happened on everyboot. While Set still works, I question
whether current installation methods really care (or do
they simply put their files where they want?). At any
rate, Set Temp = C:\Temp would be an example of how to do
it. You could also type Set and look at the current
settings.
If you are more GUI dependant (and who isn't) right click
on my computer, select Advanced tab, the click on
Environment Variables.
Have I mentioned backing up data before editing system
config stuff? :)
