upgrade Windows XP Home to Pro

I received a gift laptop with windows XP home on it. I
need powerpoint, is it worth upgrading to Pro for the
powerpoint or should i just purchase powerpoint alone ?

PowerPoint does not come with any version of Windows, it is a component of
Microsoft Office.
Upgrading to XP Pro would do you no good. You need purchase PowerPoint
seperatly.

Powerpoint is a part of MS Office or a standalone program.
Powerpoint is not a part of the XP operating system.
