View Full Version : Select skin?

I use "OUTLOOK EXPRESS" for my e-mail. I also
use "Incredemail" as my default. I have done nothing
different... but keep getting an error window when I go to
connect (click on Icon) to my e-mail through Incredemail.
It reads:
Could not load application skin (or one of it's components)
Please select a different skin.
Please advise. What is the skin? Please keep in mind that
I am not overly computer savy.
Thanks much.

A skin is an overlay... For example, if a program accepts skins and its
window is normally plain and has blue borders, you could apply a skin with
pink polka dots. The borders would now be pink polka dots instead of blue.
I've never used Incredimail. So I don't know if it "skins" the basic OE
window and adds Incredimail features on top of that. Or if it opens in its
own skinnable program window. Regardless, the error is coming from the
Incredimail program. Those are the folks you need to consult about this
error. Hopefully they have an answer for you and a way to fix it.
