Need Printer driver for Star AR-6400

I want to add a printer of Star AR-6400, please help me to
get the printer driver in windwos XP.

Download the driver from the Star micronics web site..............here is
the link to driver for your printer, copy and paste into
browser.....http://www.star-micronics.co.jp/eng/dl/dl01_01.htm

save it to a folder and bring up the add printer wizard and follow
directions, when asked to search for driver, type in lacation where you
saved it to.

I didn't see anywhere on the site that says it's compatible with XP though?
Don't know if it will operate correctly?

Er, no, it won't. You *cannot* use a 9x or NT driver under XP. You need a
2000 driver at the very least. That printer has a 3.1 driver, so it's at
least 12 years old! I've just been through the list of native drivers and I
cannot see it there either (it has my ancient LC24-200 Colour though - might
drag that down from the loft and see if it works for a giggle).

The only thing the OP can do is to purchase a new printer! Heck, if she can
afford a new computer then she can afford to cough up a little more for a
new(er) printer!
