I run a new-ish dell inspiron, and XP home. Since I have
had the machine, the standby button in the shut down
choices has always been grayed out. Dell tech support
spvsrs have promised to get to the bottom of this and
call me back, but (duh) it never happens. Dell has turfed
on the ol' customer service issue, in general. I'll never
buy from then again, but in the meantime . . . .
Anyone know how to turn this option on?
