Hi!
I have problems in upgrading to MSN 6.1. I got the erro-
mess. ...1601...
and read other posts in here and tried the possible
solver by running "%systemroot%\system32
\dllcache\msiexec.exe /regserver".

Now I am getting next error message saying "You don't
have sufficient permissions to install MSN MEssenger on
this computer"
As up til now I have never seen this and I am admin of my
computer.

Any help available ?

regards
Leif

Greetings Leif,

If you click Start, then Run, type "eventvwr.msc" and click OK, click Application on the
left-side, then look for Error's from the "MsiInstaller" source. The most recent one should
be it, assuming you haven't had any other problems with a Windows Installer. Double-click
the Error, and look in the Description field for a more accurate description of the problem.
If you post this description (there's probably multiple Error's in the Event Viewer, so post
all of them), we might be able to figure out the real explanation.

Hello again,
following is the 3 most recent events from MsiInstaller.
I made a q&d-translation of them since I am running my
system in swedish (and I guess it would be difficult for
you).
best regards Leif
