Did you get a "Dell service tag number" (it is on the
computer invoice and on a sticker on the computer). It is
your ticket into Dell service support.
Call Dell or go to their website. Support requires you to
log in with that number. One thing you'll get is a list of
the computer you bought, with the software that was
installed by Dell.
You can telephone them (you paid for the service) and talk
to a rep who will answer your question and talk you step by
step through setup,

Deborah,
The Works Suite 2003, contain the following MS Programs:
1. Word 2002
2. Works 7.0
3. Picture It!=AE Photo 7.0
4. Encarta=AE Encyclopedia Standard 2003
5. Money 2003 Standard
6. Streets & Trips 2002
It does not contain MS Excel, MS Outlook, and several other MS Office =
programs, you will need to purchase them separately. I believe that =
Works 7.0 will allow you to work with Excel documents.=20

Excel is an advanced spreadsheet and the WORKS spreadsheet
is more limited. Excel can update "workbooks" while WORKS
works on single pages at a time.
Data can be imported and exported between them, but not all
Excel functions are supported in WORKS.
