Search Feature Fails

[Muzzy]

My Start/Search feature has suddenly refused to function.
I click it and all that happens is that the start panel closes and I'm
returned to the Desktop.
I can't think of any system changes made since I last used it - only thing
I've done is a NAV Live Update and run the Symantec SWEM virus cleaner

Any ideas please?
