View Full Version : Buying XP by non-US Residents - Problems ?

I am a resident of an EC country and will be in the US soon on
vacation.

As US prices of XP Professional are considerably cheaper than in
Europe I plan to buy XP Pro while in the States.

I notice that most , if not all , of the Web sites offering XP for
sale do not ship outside of the North American continent.

I am , therefore , wondering whether , having bought XP in the States
, there would be any problem with the subsequent Authentication of
this OS when I instal it back home .

Can anyone advise me on this ?

Contact Microsoft for an answer to that.
