Hi!!

Does anybody know why I can't share the Program Files and the Windows folder
of my laptop within my home network? Actually, when I right click one on one
of the folder and go to properties, the sharing thing is faded and not
available. It says that the folder is used by windows and can not shared. It
is strange because I could share those folders in my desktop and open them
from my laptop.

Any suggestions?

By the way, I am the administrator in both computers and am running Win XP
Pro

Thanks

In Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, View and uncheck Use Simple File
Sharing.
