Soon after turning the computer on I receive the
following error message: "Hole has encountered a problem
and needs to close." What is "hole" and what should I do
to fix? Thanks much!

Hole is some software that you have installed somehow, which apparently
doesn't work so well. If you didn't intend to install it, then you should
probably look to get rid of it. Try looking for it in add/remove programs,
and also consider trying out a spyware removal program.

Hi Kim,

You tell us - what is "hole"? Seriously, it's not a WinXP file, so you
must've picked it up somewhere. I would try to find out where the file is
loading from and check the properties of the file itself to see where it
comes from.

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. This should tell you where the file loads from. I would also
locate the file, right-click it and select properties, see what the tabs
tell you about its origin.
