when i try to boot my windows xp machine i get the message
that: <windows root>\system32\hal.dll is missing or
corrupt. then it tells me i need to reinstall a copy of
that file. what is the best way to remedy this
situation? by the way, i cant bypass this message any way
to get into the operating system. any help would be
appreciated, thank you.
