When I go to sign into the messenger, a pop up comes up
with a choice of the sign in names of all of those who
signed in on this computer. I dont want the list as
there a 4 of us that share the pc. How do I get windows
or messenger to get the names out of the drop down list?

Thanks

Greetings,

You can remove Passports in the sign in list by clicking the Start Button, then click the
Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by clicking the passport you
wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button.

For more detailed instructions and screenshots on this procedure, see here:

However if you want to stop this from happening (I assume you might, since this is a shared
computer), simply download and run this .reg file:

You'll need to reboot to see the change.
