Transfering Files and Folders

I got two HDs. The primary has nothing but XP Home. The
secondary has all my files and folders and XP Pro. I
understand that the primary will be the first boot drive.
I wish to delete the XP Pro in the secondary because I am
unable to activate it. What is the best way to transfer
files and folders to the primary. What happens to the
programs which were in the secondary? Can they be
transferred also? Appreciate any help.
