My computer has a message that reads "Resolution Notice:
For best picture quality change rsolution to 1024 x
786". This message continually pops-up on screen every
minute and stays up for several seconds. I cannot move
my pointer over the message screen nor can I close it or
open other programs over it. The screen offers two
options, but no matter what key I press I am unable to
stop the message from reappearing. It says 1: EXIT 2:
DISABLE. Can anyone help me? The message covers a 2
inch x 1 inch area in the center of my screen once each
minute and its driving me nuts!!!

I may have found an answer to this by doing a search on this site (duh). I had been pressing 1 or 2 on the keyboard when the correct numbers to press are on the monitor. I have been registered for ten minutes and already have been helped.
