hi wondering if someone can help. I keep getting emails saying undelivered
email address and most of them have attachments that have virus in them. my
norton detects them and deletes them but what I would like to know is where
I am getting them from and how do I stop them.
cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
I got toally sick of deleting them, so I changed my email address. I have
also got a program called Quick Delete that lets you screen your emails from
your server and you can delete them without downloading them. Go to the
Yeti-Soft site and have a look at this program
QuickDelete 3.1.0.9

These are due to a current virus:
Unfortunately, someone who has your email address on their system is
infected. I'd create a rule in your inbox which sends the items straight to
the deleted items bin.

I set up an Outlook "Rule" using the Rule Wizard under Tools to deal with
the current problem. It does the following...
It moves all new messages to a new folder called Spam UNLESS my email
address in in the recipient's address field OR UNLESS the sender is in my
contacts address book.
It sounds too simple but I've run it on around 5000 spam messages and a 100
or so wanted emails and it does seem to be reasonably effective but not 100%
perfect.
