I have installed my desktop application in place of
explorer.exe via the Windows built-in command gpedit.msc.
Every thing is working well but I have the blue welcome
screen of windows XP Pro that is coming just after boot of
the PC for a very long time.
Do you know a way to limit it in time or to replace it or
to supress it ?
Same question for the shutdown screen.

NB : on windows 95/98 it was the file logo.sys (BMP format)

Hi,
You can either disable the welcome screen through Control panel>User
accounts>Change the way users log on or off. Or you can also auto-logon by
typing CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 at Start>Run and unchecking "Users must enter
a usernmae..."
