Hi,

With some help from this newsgroup I now have set up my system with 2 copies
of XP on seperate partitions in a dual boot mode.

When I start the PC I am presented with a menu askng which version of XP I
wish to run, unfortunalely the desciption is the same for each version, is
there a file I can edit to change these desriptions?

Thanks
Graham

Much more easier than manualy editting boot.ini is:
Click on My Computer
Select Properties
Select the Advanced tab
Click on the 3rd "Settings button"
Click on the pull down list
and edit the first or second line.

Click OK twice.

Hi Graham,

Start/run C:\boot.ini

Change the entry names associated with each in the [operating systems]
section. Do not touch the rest of the entries.
