Addresses gone!!

Hello all: just upgraded to xp from Win98. I saved the address book
(wab.exe) and in xp when I try to import the address book xp can-t find it.
Can anybody point me in the right direction, please?

Umm.. wab.exe is the address book program, not the address book data.
Hopefully the data is still available.

You'll need to locate *.wab files, but they may be in a hidden folder; so to
find them, you'll have to turn on 'show hidden and system files and
folders'.

Thanks a lot - but been there, done that - still no joy. The new install of
xp (which we started from inside of Win98) didn't delete the old folders but
we can't find the *wab files you spoke about. Any more ideas, please?

Hi,

Close OE. Then go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View/Show Hidden
files and folders. Then do a Search for *.dbx...Open OE/File/Import. Be
sure to set search options to search hidden files, folders and system
folders. Inbox is under a hidden folder.
