Hi. I bought a MB with a new 120 gig HD and Win XP OEM version.
Can I simply format the new HD with XP (NTFS or Fat32?), install it, and add
the old primary 60 gig HD as a slave? It has Win98 on it, 1 partition.
Will it dual boot alright? I'm confused because some old posts discuss this
setup---with the new 120 as "C" (plus e & f, after partioning) and the old
drive as "D"---is impossible without a boot manager. I'm not sure why
that's the case...is it? Upgrading is not an option, since I bought the OEP
version of xp. Thanks!
