View Full Version : Having trouble with changing the desktop..

You see I can change the desktop picture but for all the
files and folders on it...their names have a background
that is the same colour to the background colours you can
specify when changing your desktop if you don't want a
picture. On all of my other accounts the writing has no
background and the files blend in better with the
background picture. Is there any way I can fix this one
account so the coloured background for the writing
disappears?
Er..it's very hard to explain..I hope that made sense.

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web
tab. Make sure that no web content is enabled. You may also want to go to
Control Panel, System, Advanced, Performance, Visual Effects and make sure
that Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop is checked.
