I have installed yesterday Windows XP on my pc. Now I
would like to make some changes in "Regional and language
options". Location is set to "Iran" and date format is
set to "Farsi". If I customize it I get 4 options which
are "gregorian calender" and 3 other calender formats
(these 3 formats are written with arabic fonts).
My Problem is that I can't choose Iranian date format, so
I have some problem with my Excel and Word files because
the dates are shown in Arabic format.
The shown format in Excel is as follows:
[$-2060401]B2d mmmm yyyy;@
It means that 08.11.2003 is shown as 14/9/1424 instead
17/8/1382.
Is there a way to change the date format in Windows and
office programs.
