I just purchased a used Dell Latitude laptop with a cd
drive. I have a new windows xp cd. I want to put the
windows xp operating system on the computer, but I don't
know what to type in at the MS DOS prompt.

Hi,
The WinXP CD is bootable, setup should start unaided. If not, switch to the
I386 folder on the CD and run winnt.exe from it.
