i have win xp home.My homepage has been taken over by a
company called "Umaxsearch"Cannot change my homepage.and
many of my favourites have been added by the same
company.I do delete them but when i reboot it it all comes
up again.Please help how to get rid of these 2
probs.Thanks.

Seems you have developed a case of spyware. Go to the following website and
download the "Spybot-Search and Destroy" utility which is freeware.
http://www.safer-networking.org/ You should be able to use it without
causing you more problems.
