View Full Version : Screensavers

I have a lot of screensaveers loaded and only about half
show up on the picklist in Display Properties. The
screensavers show up alphabetically up to those beginning
with N. Nothing after that shows. Is there a way to get
the rest of them to display in the picklist?

Thanks

Hi

If all the screensavers are in the %systemroot%\system32 folder, they =
should show up. Presumably they all have a .scr extension?

I have them all in C:\winnt\system32. They all have
a .scr extension.

They all show up down to the ones that start with an N.
It seems as if there is a limit because it is only
showing part of the available list.

Actually at the end of the lsit (after one that starts
with N) is Windows XP. Seems out of place.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Much

Hi

Starfield isn't listed in the drop menu for the screensavers?

No. It is in the system32 folder and I can run it from
there. It was on the pulldown before I loaded all the
screensavers. The next to last is "new sensations", the
last is "Windows XP".

Actually, i just counted. Up to the last one, there are
100 on the list - i guess this is the limit. I wonder if
there is a way to change it?

Thanks

Hi=20

Starfield is one of the default screensavers - with 100 you will =
probably have to delete some.
