Opening Files

I'm downloading a file on the internet and my computer is
using quicktime to open it. How can i set it so it uses
adobe acrobat to open it?

Go to your windows explorer, click on tools, folder options, folder types.
Let the list populate then scroll thru it until you get to the extension of
the file you are talking about. Click on advanced go in and edit the
associated file you want.
