View Full Version : Any Explanation for This?

My system with WinXP Pro has rebooted every few days or so. Today I
lost some stuff I was working on so I thought I'd see if anyone can
explain this. I looked at the Warning in the event viewer:

EAPOL Event ID 52

The COM+Event System failed to find the ConnectionMa(o)de Method on
subscription (then a lot of numbers)

The subscriber returned HRESULT (some more numbers).

This has been the case on all of the reboots lately.

Thank you.

See "Windows XP Restarts Unexpectedly or Restarts When You Shut Down
the Computer" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=320299).<
