When I double click the icons on the desktop they will not
open.Ihave right click and open them

Hi Peter,
When you right-click them, is "open" in bold (and thereby the default
action)? If it is, you might try adjusting your mouse click settings in the
control panel.

Association Fixes. Here you'll find downloads to restore the default
behavior for LNK files (application shortcuts) and URL files (Internet
shortcuts).
