I reintall a new XP pro partition with Raid strip 0
drives and have a weird registry problem....I can change
the registry but no effect.

For example I changed the Numlock to always on... I
increase the # of stances of IE download from a default
of 2 to 10. The registry changed OK, but nothing happened.

Otherwise the new partition is much faster than the old
ones. ANy thought?

Hi Jeff,

See if this helps:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
