My mom is having this problem accessing user accounts in control panel, =
whenever she clicks on it it processes it and nothing happens
ive had this problem before and it was because of a virus, i found a =
loophole and was able to run those programs i was unable to by running =
as a different user - but there isnt any other users on her computer
ive checked for viruses and spyware using nav 2003 and adaware 6.0 and =
also did an eye scan on my own thru the potential dangered folders like =
system32
she wants to put a password on her account so my brother cant get onto =
the comuter and play games... altho im kinda stumped because i cant seem =
to figure out why she cant get into user accounts, all the help ive been =
able to find is "to get into user accounts go to start -> control panel =
-> and double click user accounts"...=20
typical microsoft help

anyways if someone has an answer or can figure out why i cant acces user =
accounts or even the process that runs user accounts (something i could =
find if i was able to property the damn thing) that would be of much help

Go to Start/Run and type: control userpasswords2 and press OK. Does
this open the old style user accounts dialog?

If this doesn't work, try using the System Restore utility to go back to a
point before the problem appeared.
