How do I install the Microsoft Equation Editor on my
computer so that I can insert equations into documents
generated in the word application program? My computer is
a Gateway 500 and the operating system is Windows XP Home.
Microsoft Works Suite 2003 has been installed. When I
click on "insert" in the word program, Microsoft Equation
3.0 is not available. The help menu suggests that I
contact the computer manufacturer but it has not been able
to help me solve this problem.

Hi Richard,

Insert-->object, equation editor should be one of the options. If not, you
may need to add it from the original installation media.
